This open air exhibition was held over an amazing autumn weekend in Borehamwood and was organised with the local council.  A lot of people walk in these woods especially during the weekend and  I wanted to create a link between my abstract paintings, nature and the people passing through. 

 

The exhibition was aptly named "From the beginning to the end" with a series of paintings named Vortex. It represents the end of a cycle in life and the start of a new cycle.  Some people engaged with me and started talking about modern art, somebody actually knew the equation G= +- A Square root 0 (thank God I got it right!), others were inspired and enjoyed their walk through the woods that weekend.  It was a great experience which I am planning to do again in the near future.
